Description

Chinese square footed bowl in underglaze blue and wucai enamels. Exterior decoration depicts a 3 clawed dragon on each side surrounded by flames and clouds, with latticework connecting the panels and a classic scroll around the foot. Interior decoration shows a central flower within an underglaze blue frame and a wucai floral scroll to the top rim. A characteristic square trimmed foot rim with a 6 character Wanli mark to the base - but later. Believe to be a Qing dynasty piece copying a Ming piece. Fitted with a hardwood base.
