One of the most outstanding mahogany beds that we have ever owned! This Victorian mahogany bed features a superb carved centre panel to headboard, and rococo styling, is complete with built in bedside cabinets, and stands upon four cabriole legs all fitted with their original brass and porcelain castors. The bed has a mirror image footboard which is slightly smaller in height than the headboard, and also features a pair of small lift up lid cabinets. We believe that these would have been used for storing slippers etc. This Victorian mahogany bed is in superb condition for its age with very little wear and tear. The headboard and footboard is supported by robust side irons which support one of our newly made pine bed bases. This superb piece of furniture would be ideal for any period bedroom setting, or as a stand-alone piece to make a real feature or focal point for any hotel or similar setting.
