A truly magnificent piece of classic English, late Victorian carved oak furniture. The bookcase top has a glazed front which opens to reveal numerous large solid oak adjustable shelves. This is positioned above a two door cupboard base doors being heavily carved with urns, flowers and leaves. The doors open to reveal another large shelf, making this an extremely sturdy and useful piece of furniture. This Victorian library bookcase is in outstanding condition for its age, and was made by Pratt & Sons renowned high quality cabinet makers. You may notice that the top and bottom locks are missing. We have removed these in order for us to have new keys cut. This victorian library bookcase is in outstanding condition, and is in a beautiful chestnut oak colour.
