Original 7 Piece Art Deco Bedroom Suite

Description
This magnificent 7 piece bedroom suite is an outstanding furniture set. The suite features a fitted out ladies' wardrobe, boasting a secret draw (pictured) above the two smaller bottom drawers, perfect for storing jewellery. The suite also contains a gentleman's wardrobe complete with hanging rails and drawers. The wardrobes and other furniture items also have locks on the doors, but these aren't useable, as there are no keys with this bedroom suite. The set also includes a dressing table with a mirror and a matching stool, two matching chairs and a bed with fitted bedside cabinets. The suite is crafted from burl walnut veneer and hasn't been repolished, adding to the character of this vintage set. Similar furniture suites that have been restored tend to look slightly false, which is why this has been left in its original condition, however if the repolished look is the style you would like to achieve, then the suite can be repolished.
It is extremely rare to find such a stunning art deco bedroom suite in fantastic condition, with its original receipts.
As you can see from the receipt, the suite was purchased in 1935 from S Hille & Co who are still in trade today and it cost £230, which at the time of buying, was the same price as a family car. The £230 is equivelant to £13,500 today.
In excellent condition for its age, this 1935 art deco bedroom suite would grace any period bedroom setting and is an outstanding one of a kind set.
Although this suite is in great condition for its age, please allow for signs of wear and tear, including small chips to the veneer.
