Description

Recently acquired from a local clearance, this lovely 17th century carved oak coffer features carved panels to front and traditional pegged joints.

It opens up to reveal an internal candle box, and as you can see, it comes with a key. The key does operate the lock, but we believe that the key may be a later addition.

The item is in good condition for its age ideal for any period property.
