Recently acquired from a house clearance, this fantastic example of an early 19th century (or even earlier) walnut and steel bound dowry chest is in excellent condition for its age.It would make a fantastic large coffee table, or piece of storage furniture for any period property or country residence. It is steel bound to all sides, and has a small lift up lid with two large cast iron catches.
A truly substantial piece of furniture with a unique appearance.
