George III oak lowboy

Description
A lovely addition to our collection of antique and period furniture, this small, country made George III lowboy has been recently acquired from a local farm clearance.This piece has a lovely warm chestnut coloured patina, and would be ideal as a hall table or side table in any period interior or small cottage.
The top and the edges of the drawers are cross banded in mahogany or walnut (we are not quite sure).
The item is in good condition for its age, circa 1800.
