We have for sale a charming early Regency period porcelain tea cup and saucer.

This very attractive gilded tea cup and saucer is of a square bucket form with a square handle beautifully decorated with scattered single roses with green leaves and scattered gilt small sprigs of leaves. The base od both the cup and saucer carry the red Duesbury mark and the according to "A Compendeum of British Cups" by Michael Berthound, the cup shape dates to around 1810.

the cup is 2 inches (5.1cm) highand the saucer is 5.5 inches (14cm) in diameter. Both are in a very good to excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, however there is some wear to the gilt around the rims.
