Description
We have for sale a very attractive Regency period Josiah Spode display plate c1825.This very attractive hand painted Jossiah Spode plate is decorated with a gilded moulded rim around a green border containing raised moulded flowers and butterflies in white all around lovely polychrome and gilt wild flowers and foliage. The back of the plate carries the Spode Feldspar Porcelain mark c1815-1830.
The plate is 9 inches (22.8cm) in diameter and is in an excellent antique condition with no chips or repairs and minimal wear to the decoration.
