Description

We have for sale a very attractive and rather heavy for its size Edwardian silver bowl by the excellent silversmith William Hutton.

This silver footed sugar bowl is of a wrythen form with a lobed rim. The base carries crisp full English hallmarks for Sheffield 1902 along with the makers marks for William Hutton.

The bowl is 3.75 inches (9.5cm) wide and 1.75 inches (4.5cm) high and weighs in at a surprisingly heavy 148.9g (4.8 Troy Ounces) according to our digital scales. The bowl is in an excellent antique condition with only the light surface wear one would expect from a well cared for piece of silver of this age.
