Newlyn School Copper Chamberstick c1900

For sale we have a lovely Newlyn School Arts and Crafts copper chamberstick.This striking planished arts and crafts chamber stick has a square body extending to a flat handle with a rounded end. The body of the chamberstick caries the impressed Newlyn mark. The chamberstick probably dates to somewhere around 1900.
The chamber stick is approximately 8.7 inches (22.1cm) long, and is in a very good to excellent condition, although, as one would expect in a piece of copper ware of this age, there is some slight accumulation of polish in the decoration.
