We have for sale a very striking ornate Victorian silver bowl by the excellent silversmith Frederick Augustus Burridge.

This attractive footed bowl is of an ornate hexagonal form extending to two dragon handles and decorated with a repose foliate design. The base carries full English hallmarks for London 1896 along with the makers marks for Frederick Augustus Burridge.

The bowl is 5.5 inches (14cm) from handle to handle, 4.25 inches (10.8cm) in diameter, 2.5 inches (6.3cm) high and weighs approximately 150g. The bowl is in a very good to excellent condition with only the slight surface wear to the body and hallmarks/makers marks one would expect from a piece of silver from this period.
