Silver Gravyboat, Stokes & Ireland Chester 1932

Description
We have for sale a lovely silver Chester hallmarked gravy boat.This heavy large gravy or sauceboat has a lobed with shaped rim combined with a scroll handle and 3 cast hoof feet. Th sauce/gravyboat carries full Chester hallmarks for 1932 along with the makers marks for S.Blanckensee & Son trading as Stokes & Ireland.
The sauce/gravyboat is a heavy 273g and is approximately 8 & 1/4 inches (21cm) long, 4 & 1/8 inches (10.5cm) wide and 4 & 1/8 inches (10.5cm) high. The gravy boat is in a very good to excellent condition with clear makers marks and assay office mark, slightly rubbed but very clear date mark and 925 silver mark.
