We have for sale a large and very striking Edwardian watercolour painting by the early and rather prolific 20th century artist Roland Stead.The painting depicts Derwentwater from Castle Head. The painting is presented in its original frame and carries the title Derwentwater from Castle Head on the original wooden mount. The painting is signed Roland Stead towards the bottom left hand side.
The picture is in a very good condition, although the frame and mount show some signs of age. The painting is approximately 39 inches (99cm) by 19 inches (48cm) including the frames.
