We have for sale a lovely little Duesbury Mark period Derby small vase or scent bottle.

This small baluster with a handles either side of the neck is decorated with a gilded cobalt blue ground with a panel to the front depicting a finely hand painted lakeside scene of a cottage. The base of the vase carries the well painted Duesbury Derby mark in red to the base along with the number 38.

The vase is approximately 3 and 1/8th inches (8cm) high and is in an very good antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, although, as one would expect in a 200 year old piece, there is a bit of wear to the gilt in places.
