For sale we have a lovely pair of late Victorian silver basket salts.

These large basket type salts are both in the form of boat shaped footed urns with silver rings at either end. The have a lovely pierced design embellished by lovely swags. The salts are completed with lovely blue fitted liners. Both salts carry full hallmarks for Birmingham 1892 along with the makers marks for Nathan & Hayes

The salts are 5 inches (12.7cm) long and together weigh approximately 6 Troy Ounces. The salts and liners are in an excellent condition with no damage or repairs, although the N of the makers mark is rubbed on one salt and partially obscured by the piercing on the other.
