For sale we have a lovely Victorian silver table cigar lighter.

This silver cigar lighter is of baluster form with body extending to a handle with a shield shaped thumb rest all on a weighted foot. The thumb rest is engraved with a crest consisting of an arm holding a trident thrust through a crown along with the moto "persevere". The cigar lighter carries full English mallmarks for London 1893 along with the makers marks for the Pairpoint Bros -John & Frank Pairpoint JP over FP.

The cigar lighter is approximately 4 &1/2 inches (11.4 cm) high and is in a very good to excellent condition other than rubbed but legible makers marks and date marks.
