Description
For sale we have a very attractive milk jug by the fine Georgian Yorkshire porcelain maker Rockingham.This typically ornate Rockingham milk jug is richly decorated with a cobalt blue and gilt rococo foliate design with bunches of flowers. The base is unmarked, but the style is typical of the Royal Rockingham period dating the piece to between 1830 -1841.
The milk jug is approximately 4 & 1/2 (11.4cm) high and is in an excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
