Description
We have for sale a rare Georgian Rockingham porcelain powder or path box.This Rockingham powder/patch box, circa 1835, with screw on lid is decorated with an acanthus leaf mitif on a periwinkle blue ground. An example of this powder box or patch box is illustrated in D.G. Rice Rockingham Porcelain pp104/105.
The powder box is 3 & 1/4 inches (8.3cm) in diameter and is in a good antique condition other than some damage to inner screw. 8.3cm Diam
