For sale we have a lovely late 18th century New Hall teapot.

This silver shaped New Hall teapot is decorated with pattern 171 consisting of a central polychrome flower basket an scattered sprigs on a white ground. The base of the teapot is marked with the pattern No 171.

The teapot is 5 & 1/2 inches (14cm) high and 9 & 1/2 inches (24cm) from handle edge to spout tip. The teapot is in a very good to excellent antique condition with no chips cracks or repairs to the handle spout or lid finial, however, there one or two heat stress hairlines to the interior with one extending through the glaze an becoming just visible in the central region of the pattern in picture 2.
