For sale we have an example of a 18th Century Dr Wall period Worcester bowl painted in the rare Old Japan Fan pattern.

Bowl is of a footed fluted form and is painted in Imari colours with the early Worcester Old japan Fan pattern. the base of the bowl caries early Worcester pseudo Chinese marks circa 1765.

The bowl is 4 and 3/4 inches (12.2cm) in diameter at its widest point. The decoration is generally in a good antique condition, however there is some wear to the gilt in places. The body of the bowl carries a hook shaped hairline and there are two chips to the scolloped rim.
