For sale we have a lovely silver trinket box.

The trinket box has a very elegant oval design and consists of an oval blue felt lined box with a lovely oval lid. The interior of the lid is gilded and the exterior has a lovely simple impressed border. The lid fits tightly and is held in place by a good strong hinge. The trinket box sits on four delicate cabriole legs. The rim of the box base carries hallmarks for Birmingham 1907 along with the makers marks for Henry Matthews.

The box is in a good antique condition, there are one or two faint scratches to the legs and one or two pin sized impressions in the cartouche free lid. There are no major dents although the lid does give the impression of slight unevenness. The trinket box is just under 2 & 3/4 inches(6.5cm) long and weighs approximately 41.4g.
