This is something for the silver collecting cigar smoker, a truly beautiful silver cased amber and 9ct gold cigar holder, both fully hallmarked for Chester 1900.

A good place to start with this piece is the stunning silver case, it is in perfect condition and is stunningly decorated with a fine foliate engraving. The finish of the holder is lovely, even the interior is gilded. The lid of the case opens to reveal the top of the amber and 9ct gold mounted cigar holder. The cigar holder slips easily from the perfectly fitted case, and like the case is in a stunning condition although there is small chip on the mouthpiece. Both the silver case and cigar holder carry full hallmarksk for Chester 1900, along with the makers marks CSFC for Cornelius Saunders & Francis Shepard.

This silver cased cigar holder measuring 2 & 3/8 inches (6.1cm) long. It is a real gem and would make the perfect Christmas present for the silver collector who enjoys a festive cigar.
