For sale we have the perfect gift for the collector of Victorian scent bottles, a lovely double ended ruby red example.

This lovely Victorian scent bottle consists of a deep ruby red faceted double ended glass bottle terminating in a hinged silver lid at one ind (complete with original glass stopper) and a screw on silver lid at the other. The collar of hinged lid carries English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1887along with makers mark Charles May.

The scent bottle is 3 &3/4 inches long and is in an excellent condition, although there is a tiny split in the screw lid as a result of the lid being over tightly screwed on at some time over the past 126 years.
