Description

We have the real pleasure of being able to offer this fabulous solid silver bonbon spoon by the renowned Victorian/Edwardian silversmith William Comyns. This would make the perfect Christmas gift for a Comyns collector.

The bonbon spoon has an ornately pierced gilded bowl with clearly struck but hard to find hallmarks for London 1892 and makers mark for William Comyns incorporated into the intricate pattern of the bowl (see picture 2). The workmanship is stunning, typical of the high quality silver items produced by William Comyns. Overall the spoon is in an excellent condition. This is a piece that would add lustre to any collection of William Comyns silver.

The spoon is 5 7/8 inches long and the pierced bowl 2 3/8 inches wide at it widest point. The spoon weighs approximately 51.08g.
