A Large Terracotta Garden Urn Depicting Iris The Greek Goddess Of Rainbows, The Sea And The Sky.

42.1/2 Inches High,
29.1/2 Inch Diameter.

This Urn Is Unusual In It's Manufacture, An Exact Form Normally Made By J.M. Blashfield In Buff Terracotta This Urn Has A Slightly Pink Body. The Top Rim Is Weathered And Stone Chips Can Be Seen As well As The Sparkle Of Silica.

The Bowl Is Separated From The Socle But Sits On An Iron Bar. Both Loop Handles Have Been Broken (Though With No Losses) And Will Need The Hand Of An Artisan To Repair And Disguise.

A Well Weathered Handsome Garden Urn.
