Description

A huge version of the famous Lalique Oursin Vase modelled on a Sea Urchin, but it's also a mystery as I haven't managed to find a Lalique one of this size. They all seem to be a lot smaller and have a tiny raised neck. Is this a trial version that left the factory unsigned? I have no idea, all I know is it's a huge organic sculpture in glass. This type of vase started production in the 1930s.
