A very fine quality miniature Japanese Cloisonne Kodansu (chest) by the maker INABA. Dating to the late Meiji to early Taisho period the golden age of the finest quality cloisonne. Late 19th century to early 20th century. Very fine enamelling of birds and flowers with no restoration or damage whatsoever. Three small drawers fully gilded inside. Signed on the underside with the INABA monogram. Absolutely exquisite. 3 5/8" wide x 2 1/8" deep x 3 3/4" tall. 5 1/8" to top of handle.
