Description

A super Antique cast iron door stop/door porter of the fictional character Wilkins Micawber in Charles Dickens 1850 novel David Copperfield. Standing proudly at 16" tall and still retaining its original finish. Also still retaining his walking stick/knocker (usually missing). Dating to the 1930s with full inscription and registered number on the back. 16" tall x 7 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" deep. Weighs 2.5 kilos.
