Description

Italian sculpture from the 18th century. Wooden work of great size and impact, pleasantly carved, depicting a graceful cherub. Ivory-coloured painted sculpture (not original painting, revived in the 20th century) with beautiful decoration. Statue complete with special metal hook fixed on the back (see photo). It shows some signs of aging and old restorations, overall in good state of conservation.
