Antique Campaign Washbowl Stand

Description
A very rare campaign, faux bamboo, folding wash stand. Made in the late 19th early 20th C, likely used during the Boer War.The legs are carved to look like bamboo and can easily fold for transportation. The three top ends, still shows the original brass tips which woudl have hold a bowl or a jug.
The circular top of this travelling stand presents the expected sign of use and missing paint or finish.
A very light, functional and versatile piece of furniture.
