A very handsome mahogany period tambour writing desk with working lock and key.The interior has pigeon holes and short drawers, (one with ink well compartments) behind a very impressive newly fitted black leather that sits above two large drawers with pretty turned knobs. Circa 1780.
A truly delightful piece of period furniture.
