Description

Large chest of drawers in inlaid veneer wood opening with five drawers and two small side doors. In the center, it presents a decoration of a still life with an ewer and floral motifs. On both sides decor of quartefeuilles in a diamond mesh that we find on the side faces. It is decorated in the belt with a frieze of foliated foliage of gilded bronze. White marble top. Louis XVI style, after a model by Jean-Henri RIESENER kept at the Château de Fontainebleau. Note that this chest of drawers is from the mid-twentieth century and that it bears the fire mark FD under the marble top.
