Description

Old gilt bronze clock Restauration style representing Ceres the goddess of the harvest. It supports on her head a wreath of wheat with his left hand and with the other hand a basket of flowers. In the center the terminal is accompanied by a movement to 12 cartridges enamelled Roman numerals. Above the cornucopia represents a basket of wheat and flowers, it ends with head of a ram. On the other side the column is accompanied above a flower urn. The rectangular base is decorated with two crowns and a stylized pattern in the center. Beautiful gilding with a slight wear on flat surfaces. The movement need to be verified. Restoration period (1814-1830)
