EACH PANEL FEATURING BOTH MALE & FEMALE BUSTS ENCLOSED IN CIRCLETS AND ARCHED LEAVES WITHIN AN ENCLOSED BORDER.TWO OF THE MALES, POSSIBLY FATHER & ELDEST SON, ARE DEPICTED WEARING HELMS TO INDICATE THEIR AFFILIATION WITH THE ARMY. THE YOUNGEST MALE WEARING A TRADITIONAL BONNET. THE FEMALES ALL WEAR THE FRENCH HOOD AS OPPOSE TO THE MORE CONSERVATIVE ENGLISH GABLE HEADRESS.
