Description

Unique and unusual mahogany bucket and brass liner which originates from west Europe.

-Floral carved decoration to the top rim and bottom adding an elegant and refined touch.
-Constructed with strips of mahogany wood arranged in a vertical goblet-like fashion.
-The piece curves in such a way that the brass bucket liner snugly fits and is suspended within.
-Distinct paw feet finish off the piece which are typical of the time and was widely used for furniture during the 19th Century.
– The brass bucket liner can be removed for ease of plant care.

A fine antique Dutch bucket and brass liner. Useful for displays of indoor plants or flower arrangements.

In good condition with some age related wear and old repair, due to the nature of the design there is some movement in the body. But otherwise in useable condition.
