Description

A Betty Joel Australian Walnut modernist bookcase/display cabinet with two drawers and an enclosed cupboard with stepped Walnut rectangular handles, with an assymetrical shelving arrangement, over reeded block feet. The drawers have the signature ball bearing closure catch to their bases, designed and manufactured by Betty Joel, paper label under glass on the base, 'made by G E Ashley at the 'Token Works' Portsmouth, 1933.
