An ash and elm Captain’s or smoker’s bow backed chair with saddle seat .Well turned spindles and legs with double stretchers . Over the years it has had some interesting iron re-enforcing rods on the arms which really add to the character of the chair .There has been a repair to the base of one spindle at the rear of the chair as seen in photo.
