Staffordshire two piece Lion

Description
A two piece Staffordshire lion which I believe is quite unusual although I am not an expert . The lower part is glazed internally but not the top section . It might well have been a trinket box . It is in good condition ,there is a very small chip on the inner rim of the top section (see photo ) . This is not observable when the top section is in place . There is also some internal cracking in the top section from the original firing .It is superficial .The piece measures 12 cms x7 cms x 9 cms
