Description
A very nice Japanese Naval Katana Kyu-Gunto. The blade is of world war two vintage and has a Suguha Gnome hamon. The blade has much original polish but does have some small patches of pitting.The scabbard is covered in a beautiful brown polished Same(Fish skin.)The tang is signed NO-SHU--SEKI-JU-KO-JIMA-KATSU-MASA-SAKU. The sword smith Katsumasa is registered in Hawley's Japanese swordsmiths under KAT-75 and is described has a medium grade Showato. This sword is an untouched sleeper and looks wonderful.
