Good quality architectural etching of Manchester University by well know artist, illustrator and etcher Mr Frank Greenwood, who studied at the RCA in the 19th century and was taught by Sir Francis Short. He had many of his popular works of 'Old Manchester' exhibited in Central art gallery in Manchester, and also the Walker art gallery in Liverpool.This nicely presented etching benefits from being in its original gilt and glazed frame, and is signed by the artist to the bottom right hand corner of the work .
