1920's English gentleman's portmanteau . In a charming 'well travelled' condition.. With the initials 'AT' stencilled to its side. Purported to have once belonged to the Tweedy family of 'Swan Hunters' Ship yard fame. A good quality case which is unusual, having a thistle green coloured canvas covering and its contrasting leather reinforcing. Also present are the well made original leather straps with their sturdy brass buckles, the original lined interior and complete with a paper trade label also present is a working brass lock and key.
