Description

Dating to the end of the 19th century, this lovely German solid pine 2 piece kitchen cupboard is in very good condition and extremely well constructed with dovetail joints all round.
The cupboard stands on a plinth and has decorative knees and canted corners. To lower section, there is a single shelf to the inside which is enclosed with a pair panel doors complete with working lock and original escutcheons.​ .
The top section has 2 drawers which are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have applied decorative moulding and original knobs.
​Above this there is another cupboard with two and half shelves to the inside. This is enclosed with a pair of fine glazed doors complete with working lock and original escutcheons.
​The ogee moulded cornice is further complimented with a raised carved pediment.
This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the room of any home traditional or modern.
​There has in the past been some insect attack to the cupboard, but although historical I have sprayed it all with a 5 star 20 year treatment.

22.5 inches deep max / 17.5 inside
86.5 inches high.
