Description

Dating to the middle of the 19th century and being made of solid oak, this stunning Louis Phillipe armoire is in excellent sturdy condition. The armoire will come completely flat so will go upstairs with ease.
The cheeks of the armoire follow down to form the moulded plinth and feet. There is a plinth drawer to the armoire which runs with ease and has later handles.
​To the inside there are 3 shelves (2 of which are later replacements)
This is enclosed with a super pair of molded panel doors with fine madulery ray grain and original working lock.
This is all complimented with a traditional ogee inlaid cornice of the style and period.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the armoire but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
The armoire measures
54.75 inches wide / 62.5 outside of cornice
19.5 inches deep / 23 outside of cornice / 17 inches internal
87.5 inches high.
