Description

Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this 2 piece German house keepers cupboard is in very good condition and has it's original sprung catches with later turned wooden knobs.
​The base of the cupboard is divided in to 2 sections, each have a single shelf which is adjustable up and down.
This is enclosed with 3 moulded panel doors.
​The frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all run with ease.
​The top section is divided in to individual cupboards, each having adjustable shelves with additional racking to the back of the doors.
​This is all complimented with a simple moulded cornice.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the cupboard. Although this is historical, I have sprayed the whole unit with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
This is a lovely piece of German furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.

14.5 inches deep ( 13.5 internal) with an over all height of the whole buffet being 79.5 inches..
