Description

This Arts & Crafts oak chest has an unusual configuration of four short and three long, graduated drawers with iron ring handles. The simple design has a top with moulded edges and panelled sides of solid oak. The drawers are finely dovetailed and have solid oak linings.

It measures 102.5cm high, 52cm deep and 91.5cm wide. The bottom drawer is 21cm deep internally.

It is in good, refinished condition. Traces of the original lightly limed finish can still be seen in the grain and there are a few old marks and scratches to the top. The back is a birch ply replacement. The key is missing.
