Description

These bookcases are made of oak and each has a pair of sliding glass doors beside a panelled cupboard door of cross-matched veneers. The sides are panelled, they have shaped wooden handles and they stand on plinth bases. Internally, there is an adjustable shelf behind the glass doors and a static shelf in the cupboards. They are part of the Good Furniture Units range produced by AB Ltd in the inter-war period.

They each measure 100.5cm wide, 40cm deep and 76.5cm high.

They are in good condition, refinished where necessary, with a few old marks to the tops. They would originally have had a lightly limed finish, very slight remnants of which still remain to the sides.
