An Aesthetic Movement walnut armchair based closely on an original design by E.W.Godwin. The back is of a Japanese-influenced geometric pattern conceived by Godwin and contrasts with the curvaceous arms. The turned front legs are united to the outswept back legs by a turned H-stretcher.DateAesthetic Period
