Description

This Arts & Crafts bureau bookcase is constructed of solid oak throughout and has two long shelves beneath the fall front and four short ones beside it. It has stylised handles in the Art Nouveau style, a pierced three quarter gallery, a shaped apron and its original fitted interior.

ConditionIn generally good condition with a few minor faults that do not detract from the overall attractiveness of the item. The central handle is a sympathetic replacement, one strap hinge has a small crack behind a replacement screw (the hinges themselves are original), the left foot is slightly warped and the front of the top has taken knocks to both corners.
