19th Century papier-mache work table

Description
A fabulous quality 19th Century papier –mache work table in lovely original condition, it’s decorated all over with mother of pearl and gilding, wonderfully shaped top opening to reveal a velvet lined interior with various apparatus and compartments, supported on a turned column terminating on a platform base with scroll feet. Some of the gilding is slightly rubbed through but for it’s age very crisp. Circa 1850.17” x 13 1/2” x 31” high
